Ruwawa, named after David Lenny Waweru (the producer) and his mother, is a young fifth-generation coffee farmer. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic disrupting his education, Lenny refocused on his family's coffee legacy.
After taking specialty coffee association (SCA) classes, he dedicated his time to diversifying his farm, by Implementing eco-friendly and organic farming practices, andadding fruit trees around his coffee,allowing the coffee to grow in a shaded environment. He is now looking to take his coffee’s quality to the next level.
